Pot Luck Fellowship Lunch Sunday 28th June:
Following the worship service at 10:00am stay and enjoy some great company over a “Pot Luck” lunch.
What to bring? Now is a great time of year for casseroles and soups to warm the cockles of your heart and stomachs. Another option is to bring a sweet to share (cakes, slices, cookies or even fruit).
New faces will always be made welcome.
Any questions please contact Church Office.
With the older kids back at school are you looking for a place where your younger ones can burn off some energy with other kids and you get to have some adult conversation too?
Our mainly music program runs each Wednesday and Thursday during the school term from 10.00am and goes for a little over an hour. Cost is $3.00 per family. Each week we have:
music (there are shakers and claves), dancing (you know you want to join in too), morning tea (you bring theirs and we supply the tea and coffee for you- often some cake too), free play (they run around, build block towers, push prams while you get a chance to converse with people taller than your knees), craft (for those that want to, not forced for those who aren’t interested).
We often have children from newborns to kinder age who come with their Mums, Dads, Aunties and Grandparents. (makes the group a great source for parenting ideas and support)
If you have any questions please contact the church office on 9783 3235 or pop in and see if the group suits. Please note spaces are filling quickly so don’t hesitate.

Did you have a favorite teacher at primary school?
Was there a youth leader who encouraged you when you felt you had failed? Was there an adult who listened when you thought no one cared?
Positive human relationships are essential for children to grow up happy and healthy.
Yet many Australian children lack significant close relationships with a caring adult, other than their parents.
KIDS HOPE AUS. focuses on primary school children because during this phase children are most likely to benefit from a close relationship with an adult. This is when self-esteem and values are learned, and critical academic skills are acquired. Could you be that adult to a child? Talk with the church office about Kids Hope.
